Our return and exchange policy are valid for 60 days from the date of purchase
After 60 days from purchase date, we cannot offer a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must be unused and in the exact same condition as received.
 
Cancellations
You have 24h from the time of purchase to cancel or make any updates your order details. From that moment onwards we cannot proceed with any changes. Please contact our support team if you have any questions.
 
How to Process a Return
Please send an email to welcome@thetravellercompanion.com with the order number within 7 days from the arrival date to start the return process. We will not accept any returns or exchanges reported after 7 days from the arrival time.
 
Damaged items
Damaged items must be reported to welcome@thetravellercompanion.com within 48 hours of receipt with a photo that shows your product(s) and the packaging with a visible tracking number. In these situations, we will proceed with a refund or replacement immediately. If not reported within that time we will not issue replacements.

Any item not in its original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
 
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3-5 business days.
 
Late or Missing refunds
Please note, refunds can take 3-5 business days to appear on your statement, depending on how your bank or financial institution processes them. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at welcome@thetravellercompanion.com.

 

Shipping Costs
You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs when returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. You should use a trackable shipping service.
 
Wrong Address
Please note that if the package doesn’t reach you after you provided a wrong or incomplete address, we will not be held accountable and will not be able to offer a full refund of your order amount. In these situations we will be able to resend the item back to you, but only if you cover the shipping costs. This happens because we value the working time, shipping expenses and other resources that we have invested when dispatching the first item to you.
